Services: About Us

An engaging programme that equips young people with employability skills to join the wider workforce.

Wipers are grateful that our partners were able to provide our young leaders with work experience and gain practical knowledge in a range of industries.

Check out the skills our young people had the opportunity to learn below:

Local Honey Man Beekeeping

Our young people learn about why bees are so important, the process of pollination, and receive a tour of the hives, warehouse and production areas.

Pinpoint Bike Mechanics

In their workshops with Pinpoint, young people learn the fundamentals of how bikes work and repairs for common malfunctions.

KeyWest Plastering

In a day in the life of a plasterer our young people spent time with tradesman Brian practicing identifying a large range of tools and materials, measuring, cutting and drilling plaster boards, and mixing plaster to smoothen walls.

Amber Construction

Our young people are able to spent time with construction project managers at Amber Construction to understand the ins and outs of managing expansive operations.

ECT Phone Shop

Our dynamic youth take charge of organising stock, honing their customer service finesse and the art of repairing phone screens during their time at ECT Phone shop.

Stepney City Farm

Our vibrant youth immersed themselves in a world of nature, tending to animals, engineering sturdy bamboo pole supports to foster the growth of beanstalks, and embarked on a journey to conceive and craft an outdoor classroom sanctuary.

We look forward to helping more of our young people take part in understanding these enriching taster days.

A big thank you to those who helped make this happen:
