The London Mayor's Office has pledged £10m of funding to ensure that 100,000 young people in London have a mentor by the end of 2024.

Children in prison placed a long distance from their home are missing out on family visits, the HM Inspectorate of Prisons has warned.

The Chief Inspector of Prisons has urged the Urgent Notification process to be introduced at HMYOI Cookham Wood following inspection.
